FAQ

What background knowledge do I need for your workshops?

Our biostatistics events are designed for scientists with no prior formal statistical training. For AI seminars, basic knowledge of research methods is helpful but not required. That is what makes our events special.

Can you make discounts?

Yes, we offer several discount options. Students who attend our statistics courses receive a 30% discount on mentoring services. Additionally, we provide group discounts when multiple attendees from the same laboratory/institute register together.

Can you organise an event on a specific topic?

Yes we can. However, since our expertise does not cover all aspects of life science, biostatistics or AI, we may be unable to favourably respond to some requests. Contact us to discuss your needs so we can determine how we can best support you.

Do you teach programming?

No we do not. In our opinion, theory must be acquired before programming literacy. Therefore, we focus our workshops on building a strong foundation in statistical principles. However, we organise workshops on statistical analysis and data visualization on GraphPad Prism.

Can you accomodate for small or large groups?

While we do not have strict minimum requirements, we found that groups with fewer than 10 participants tend to have less engaging discussions. Similarly, groups larger than 25 people interact less, which can affect learning outcomes. However, these are only guidelines, so please contact us if you have specific needs.

Can you help non-life scientists?

Yes, we can. However, since we are life scientists, when working with participants from more distant disciplines, it becomes more challenging to create meaningful workshop activities or optimised mentoring. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs
